From Lennart Meri Airport to Where Lennart Meri Grew Up
This route comes with a remarkable story. Tallinn Airport is named after Lennart Meri, the former President of Estonia. Hampton by Hilton was built on the very spot where he spent his early childhood, in a wooden house that once stood here. The house was later demolished to make way for the Eha cinema, and today the hotel occupies the site.
In just 12 minutes, you travel from the airport that bears Lennart Meri's name to the place where he grew up.
The First Hampton by Hilton in Estonia
The hotel opened in December 2024 as the first Hampton by Hilton in the country. It has 184 rooms over six floors.
The interior is a tribute to Estonian culture. The art deco murals in the rooms were created by Lithuanian artist Fausta Miežytė, inspired by the Estonian literary group Siuru.
Guests can enjoy an American-style restaurant, a bar, two conference rooms, a gym and a sauna. In fact, it is the only Hampton by Hilton in the world with its own sauna.
Drop-off on Jakobsoni Street
A tram line runs along Tartu Road, so we usually pull up on the Jakobsoni Street side of the hotel. It is quieter there and makes unloading your luggage much easier. If needed, we can also stop on the Tartu Road side.
Tallinn Central Market Across the Road
Directly opposite the hotel, just across the road, is Tallinn Central Market. It is packed with fresh fruit, vegetables and food of every kind to suit any taste. The Old Town is within walking distance of the hotel.

Hampton by Hilton welcomes business travellers, families with children and holidaymakers alike. We drive guests to meetings and conferences, around the city and back to the airport.
A sedan is ideal for one or two passengers. For families or parties of up to 8, we have the Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Mercedes-Benz Vito minivans. Child seats are available on request. For groups of 8 to 24 people, we can arrange transport on request.
