Baron von Stackelberg's Town Residence
The hotel has an aristocratic past. The limestone mansion was built in 1873 by the Baltic German baron Georg von Stackelberg as his town residence, and the building still bears his name today.
During the restoration, the thick limestone walls were left exposed, and the modern design simply highlights the history of the house. No two rooms are alike, and each has a character of its own.
A Fireplace, a Library and a Courtyard Full of Life
The heart of the hotel is the cosy lobby bar with its open fireplace and corner library, looking out onto the inner courtyard. Interesting events are often held in the courtyard, and in summer it is a lovely spot for a glass of wine.
The courtyard is also home to the baron's former carriage house, Tõllakuur, which is now one of the most unusual conference venues in Tallinn. In total, the hotel's conference centre has four rooms for up to 100 people.
Restaurants and Zen Spa
The restored cellar houses Emmeline and Otto restaurant, alongside OTTO's wine and tapas bar, which is popular with locals too. For relaxation, the hotel has a Zen Spa with a sauna and a Japanese bath.
Alexander Nevsky Cathedral Just Steps Away
