St. Olav Hotel is at Lai 5 in the Old Town, a couple of minutes' walk from Town Hall Square. The hotel is about 7 kilometres from the airport, roughly a 20 minute drive, and the car takes you right to the entrance.
A 15th century house full of winding corridors
The hotel occupies a carefully restored medieval building from the 15th century. Inside you will find antique furniture and exposed stone and brick in the rooms, and the corridors twist and turn so much that guests joke you need a map. It is exactly this feel of a genuine old house that makes it a favourite with visitors.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant, the lounge bar is open in the evening, there is a terrace in summer, and the Cherie beauty salon in the building offers guests a discount. There is no lift to the upper floors, so your driver will help carry your bags to the hotel entrance.
Next door to St Olaf's Church
The hotel is named after the Norwegian king St Olaf, as is St Olaf's Church just along Lai street. In the 16th century its spire was considered one of the tallest in the world, and today you can climb the tower in the warmer months for a view over the whole Old Town and the port.
Toompark is close by, and Balti Jaam station and its market are just a few minutes away on foot.
Meeting, cars and child seats
Most of the passengers we drive here are tourists who want to stay in the very heart of the Old Town. Your driver meets you with a name sign and tracks your flight. For one or two people we send a sedan, for families or groups of up to 8 a Mercedes-Benz V-Class or Vito, and for larger groups minibuses and coaches.
