Tallinn Airport transfer to Merchant's House Hotel
Merchant's House Hotel is at Dunkri 4/6, on a cobbled lane just a few steps from Town Hall Square. The hotel is about 5 kilometres from the airport, roughly a 20 minute drive. We hold an Old Town access permit, so the car pulls up right at the entrance and you will not have to drag your suitcases over the cobblestones.
A 14th century merchant's house
The name says it all. The hotel occupies two historic buildings from the 14th and 16th centuries, one of which was once the home of a Tallinn merchant. The restoration kept the old wooden beams, staircases and hand painted walls.
Thanks to the medieval layout, no two rooms are alike: the 37 rooms and suites come in all shapes, with beamed ceilings and uneven walls, and the corridors wind so much that it is easy to get lost on your first day.
A courtyard restaurant and a sauna
The hotel has a restaurant in its inner courtyard, with a terrace in summer. After your flight you can relax in the sauna and relaxation room, free of charge for guests.
Meeting, cars and child seats
Most of our passengers here are tourists who want to stay a stone's throw from Town Hall Square. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and tracks your flight. The price is fixed, with no extra charge for night arrivals, waiting or flight delays.
For one or two passengers we send a Mercedes-Benz E-Class, S-Class or Lexus ES, for families or groups of up to 8 a Mercedes-Benz V-Class or Vito, and for larger groups an 18 or 24 seat minibus or a coach. Infant carriers and child seats for any age are ready on request.
Back to the airport, port or bus station
On your departure day the driver will collect you on Dunkri street and take you to your flight, ferry or bus. We are available around the clock, so even a 6 am flight is no problem, and it costs the same as a daytime ride.
