Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel is in the Old Town, between Lai and Pikk streets, 300 metres from Town Hall Square. The hotel is about 7 kilometres from the airport, roughly a 20 minute drive. The car pulls up at the main entrance on Lai 24, which is open around the clock.
A quiet courtyard between Lai and Pikk
The hotel has two addresses and two entrances: the main one on Lai street and a second at Pikk 29, through the café and the inner courtyard. In summer a sunny terrace opens here, surrounded by some of the oldest and most beautiful streets in Tallinn.
There are around 50 rooms, each individually designed. Some still have medieval stone and wooden staircases, and some windows look out over the Old Town. There is a lift, and family rooms are available.
Nordic cuisine at Trofe
The Trofe restaurant and bar is on the ground floor, with windows onto Pikk street. Its menu takes inspiration from Nordic food: game, Baltic and Scandinavian fish, plus vegetarian and gluten free dishes. Breakfast is served in the morning, lunch and dinner later in the day.
Pikk street: guilds and merchants' houses
The hotel is a perfect base for exploring Pikk, the main merchants' street of medieval Tallinn. Along it stand the Great Guild Hall, the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads and the famous Three Sisters, a trio of 15th century merchants' houses, with the spire of St Olaf's Church rising above the quarter.
Meeting, cars and child seats
Most of our passengers here are tourists who want to stay right inside the Old Town. Your driver meets you with a name sign and tracks your flight. For one or two people we send a sedan, for families or groups of up to 8 a Mercedes-Benz V-Class or Vito, and for larger groups minibuses and coaches.
Infant carriers and child seats for any age are ready on request. The price is fixed and stays the same at night or if your flight is delayed.
Back to the airport, port or station
On your departure day we collect you from the Lai 24 entrance and take you to the airport, the passenger port, the bus station or Balti Jaam railway station. We work around the clock, with no surcharge for early or night pickups.
