The Port of Tallinn passenger terminals are about a five minute walk from the hotel. That is why many Hyatt Place guests fly into Tallinn, stay a night or a few days, and then carry on their journey by ferry.
We cover every leg of that trip: from the airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the ferry terminal, and from the port back to the hotel or straight to the airport. With suitcases or children in tow, it is far easier than walking, even a short distance.
What to See Near the Hotel
The famous Fat Margaret tower is within easy walking distance. This 16th century cannon tower stands at the northern edge of the Old Town and has housed the Estonian Maritime Museum since 1981. Its rooftop terrace has a café with views over the harbour and the Old Town.
A seaside promenade starts just five minutes from the hotel. Next to the cruise terminal, an 850 metre walkway runs along the waterfront towards the Kalamaja district.
Behind Linnahall there is a small city beach right by the sea, an easy stroll from the hotel.
